Welcome to STARVING VENDORS.  Of course, we all have been starving for quite awhile as the economy continues its downward spiral.  Gas prices continue to surge and surge and surge. People still losing their jobs and their houses.  It’s rough out there and it’s becoming increasing difficult for us vendors to make a living as people have tightened their pursestrings, locked their wallets shut , hidden their credit cards, etc.  I’ve created STARVING VENDORS through which I wish to share experiences with you, spread the word, make you laugh, cry together with you and to also provide some tongue in cheek humor about the various aspects of the business.  It’s not as bad as you think, people…it’s worse. 

There are a number of vendors who continue to do well in these  hard times, but a huge amount of us are indeed struggling.  If you think times were tough after 9/11, things are much worse right now.  There were years when vendors were making a lot of money.  Not great hordes of people selling back then and there weren’t zillions of shows like there are now…especially ones with shady, inexperienced and/or non-caring promoters
